Preserves the right to sue healthcare providers for intentional misrepresentation or injuries caused by willful acts or lack of ordinary care

Applies only to actions occurring on or after the bill's effective date, with immediate implementation upon passage

Modeled after Pennsylvania's statute, joining eight other states with similar laws restricting these types of civil actions
