Mandates health insurance coverage for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems when prescribed by a healthcare practitioner for the treatment of glycogen storage disease.

Applies to all major types of health insurance in New Jersey, including hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health service corporations, HMOs, individual and group policies, and small employer plans.

Requires the State Health Benefits Commission and School Employees' Health Benefits Commission to include this coverage in contracts they purchase.

Benefits must be provided at parity with coverage for any other medical condition under the plan or contract.

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment, with individual health benefits plans under P.L.1992, c.161 having a January 1, 2027 effective date.
