Appropriates $500,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Health's Division of Community Health for the Huntington's Disease Grant Program as a supplement to the FY 2025 budget

Increases total program funding from an estimated $201,000 to $701,000 for FY 2025

Funds will support grants to higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and New Jersey-based research organizations for pre-symptomatic testing, neurology and psychiatry services, neurophysiological evaluations, treatment, disease management, and counseling

Approximately 900-1,200 New Jersey residents currently live with Huntington's disease, with about 7,000 additional at-risk individuals in the state

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
