Amends New Jersey's Medical Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act (P.L.2019, c.59) to waive the 15-day waiting period between oral requests when a patient is not expected to survive 15 days based on reasonable medical certainty

Reduces the minimum time between the initial oral request and prescription writing from 15 days to 48 hours for patients with less than 15 days to live

Waives the requirement for a second oral request entirely when the patient is not expected to survive 15 days

Requires attending physicians to document in the patient's medical record the medical basis for any determination that the patient is not expected to survive 15 days

Maintains the existing 48-hour waiting period between receipt of the written request and issuance of the prescription for all patients regardless of prognosis
