Creates a rebuttable presumption of pretrial detention for defendants charged with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer under N.J.S.2C:12-1, adding this offense to the same category as murder and crimes carrying life imprisonment

Amends New Jersey's Criminal Justice Reform Law (P.L.2014, c.31) to allow prosecutors to file pretrial detention motions specifically for aggravated assault against law enforcement officers

Defendants charged with this offense would need to prove by a preponderance of the evidence that monetary bail, non-monetary conditions, or a combination would reasonably assure court appearance, public safety, and no obstruction of justice
