Amends N.J.S.2C:51-2 to expand criteria for mandatory forfeiture of public office, position, or employment upon conviction of offenses related to the person's public role

Requires courts to assess the gravity of the offense based on its nature, context, and the identity of the victim when determining if an offense is "related directly" to public employment

Allows courts to order forfeiture even when the offense did not occur during employment hours or on employment grounds

Persons convicted of qualifying offenses face permanent disqualification from holding any public office or position of honor, trust, or profit in New Jersey

Takes effect 60 days following enactment and applies only to offenses committed on or after the effective date
