Department of Health must develop and implement a mobile senior citizen assistance program within 180 days of the act's effective date, using available funds

Staffed vehicles will be periodically deployed to nursing homes, senior centers, events, low-income senior housing, and other senior residences throughout New Jersey

Services provided include assistance with completing applications, correspondence, food services, health care services, Internet access, legal services, appointments, tax services, transportation, and use of computers and mobile devices

Program is modeled after Ocean County's MASH Unit, which uses staffed vehicles from Ocean County Senior Services to assist seniors

Commissioner of Health is authorized to adopt rules and regulations necessary to implement the program
