State Auditor directed to conduct a performance review audit of the Victims of Crime Compensation Office (VCCO) in the Department of Law and Public Safety

Audit must analyze whether VCCO achieves economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in using available resources and complies with applicable statutory law and regulations

Required audit components include: analysis of federal and State funding use, assessment of whether personnel levels meet statutory mandates, evaluation of internal operations efficiency, and recommendations to address organizational deficiencies

State Auditor must submit a report summarizing audit results to the Governor and Legislature within six months of the act's effective date
