Authorizes transfer of General Fund appropriations from licensed hospitals and health care entities to the Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services to maximize federal Medicaid payments under the Medicaid Access to Physician Services (MAPS) program.

Faculty physicians and non-physician professionals affiliated with licensed hospitals or health care entities would receive enhanced NJ FamilyCare reimbursement rates comparable to private insurer rates.

All transfers must comply with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidelines and require approval from the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting.

The MAPS program was established to improve Medicaid beneficiaries' access to primary and specialty care following the Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansion, with services delivered by physician practices affiliated with New Jersey's public medical and dental schools.

Supplements the Fiscal Year 2026 Appropriations Act (P.L.2025, c.74) with immediate effect upon enactment.
