Waives the initial five-year inspection fee under the "Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law" for multiple dwellings owned by municipalities or their agencies/authorities where all units are dedicated as affordable housing (very low-income, low-income, or moderate-income housing).

Fee waiver applies only to the first inspection conducted under the law's cyclical inspection requirements, not subsequent inspections or reinspections.

Takes effect immediately and applies retroactively to January 1, 2017.

Amends P.L.1967, c.76 (C.55:13A-13) to reduce costs for municipalities and property taxpayers in producing affordable housing.
