Classifies semiautomatic pistols as assault weapons if they have a detachable magazine plus one feature including threaded barrels, barrel shrouds, weight over 50 ounces unloaded, or magazine attachment outside the pistol grip

Codifies existing State Police regulations into statute while broadening the scope of prohibited firearms through expanded criteria and the single-feature threshold
