Department of Banking and Insurance (DOBI) must conduct a confidential one-time review of hormone replacement therapy coverage administration by health insurance carriers under the "New Jersey Menopause Coverage Act" (P.L.2025, c.200)

Review must determine whether there has been an aggregate increase in hormone replacement therapy coverage by insurers since the Menopause Coverage Act took effect

DOBI will examine prior authorization and step therapy exception approval and denial data, plus other carrier information collected in the ordinary course of business

Review conclusions must be submitted to the Legislature six months after the bill's effective date

The bill expires automatically upon submission of the review conclusions to the Legislature
