School districts must submit annual interscholastic athletic opportunity reports to the Commissioner of Education by October 15, covering male and female students in middle schools and high schools from the previous school year

Reports must include enrollment by gender, team listings by gender, number of athletes per team, district expenditures (itemized for travel, uniforms, equipment, coaching compensation, and facility maintenance), and booster club contributions

Districts must also report staffing data including number of athletic trainers, time spent with each team, head and assistant coaches per team, coach employment status, and total competitions scheduled and played

School districts must post their reports on their websites by November 1 each year, and the Commissioner must post all submitted reports on the Department of Education's website

The Commissioner must prepare an annual summary report by January 15 analyzing interscholastic athletic opportunities by gender and transmit it to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Legislature
