County mosquito control agencies and commercial pesticide operators must notify all residents within or adjacent to a spraying area at least five days before conducting mosquito control applications.

Notifications must be delivered by telephone or regular certified mail.

Required notification content includes the date and time of the scheduled spraying application.

Notifications must also disclose the types of chemicals that will be used during the mosquito spraying application.

The law takes effect immediately upon enactment.
