Prohibits developers and deployers of generative AI in New Jersey from advertising or representing that the AI can practice any profession or occupation regulated under Title 45 of the Revised Statutes or by the Judicial Branch/Administrative Office of the Courts.

Defines generative AI as technology trained on data, designed to simulate human communication through text, audio, or visual means, and generates non-scripted outputs with limited or no human oversight.

Violations constitute unlawful practice under the consumer fraud act, punishable by up to $10,000 for first offense and up to $20,000 for subsequent offenses.

Additional enforcement mechanisms include cease and desist orders from the Attorney General, punitive damages, and treble damages plus costs awarded to injured parties.

Takes effect on the first day of the sixth month following enactment, with the Attorney General authorized to take anticipatory implementation actions.
