Prohibits Governor-declared states of emergency or public health emergencies from infringing on the right to assemble for worship according to one's faith

Protects the ability to travel to and from places of worship during emergency declarations

Bars civil or criminal penalties and administrative sanctions against religious institutions or members for exercising their religion during emergencies

Permits the Governor to require religious organizations to comply with health, safety, or occupancy requirements that apply equally to all essential service providers

Takes effect immediately upon enactment; sponsored by Assemblyman Gregory P. McGuckin (District 10, Monmouth and Ocean)
