Increases New Jersey juror compensation from $5 to $40 per day for both grand and petit jurors, effective immediately upon the first day of service

Eliminates the current tiered payment structure that provides an additional $35 per day only after three consecutive days of service

Appropriates $6,000,000 from the General Fund to the Administrative Office of the Courts to fund the increased juror pay

Exempts certain full-time government employees who are compensated under a separate statute (N.J.S.2B:20-16)
