Addresses a 2006 New Jersey Supreme Court ruling that struck down prior legislation (P.L.2001, c.362) establishing armed probation officers as unconstitutional due to separation of powers violations.

Requires voter approval at a general election occurring more than three months after legislative agreement, with publication in newspapers at least three months prior to the vote.
