Recognizes that in 2016, 687 cyber data breaches affecting over 116,000 New Jersey account holders were reported to the Division of State Police

Aligns New Jersey with the federal designation by the President, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and National Cyber Security Alliance recognizing October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month

Acknowledges the role of the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell in threat analysis, information sharing, and incident reporting to protect residents and businesses
