Designates September 21 of each year as "New Jersey Pedestrian Crosswalk Safety Day" in memory of Bruce Morlack, a Burlington City School District crossing guard who died in the line of duty protecting students.

September 21 was chosen to honor Mr. Morlack on his birthday as a day dedicated to crosswalk safety, education, and community reflection.

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation recognizing the day and call upon public officials and citizens to observe it with appropriate activities and programs.

Emphasizes shared responsibility between motorists and pedestrians for crosswalk safety, including pedestrians avoiding distractions like cell phones and following crossing guard directions.
