Designates the first week of May each year as "Children's Mental Health Awareness Week" in New Jersey to foster public awareness and understanding of mental health issues in children.

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe the week with appropriate activities and programs.

Aligns New Jersey with the existing National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week observed during the same period.

Highlights that children with mental illness face increased risks of school suspension, substance abuse, and involvement in the juvenile justice system, while many do not receive treatment due to stigma or lack of access.
