The New Jersey Reentry Services Commission released a 2019 report with 100 action steps to improve outcomes for those released from prison, focusing on addiction treatment, healthcare, legal issues, and employment training.

The Commission on Reentry Services for Women released a 2020 report with over 70 recommendations addressing employment, healthcare, housing, family reunification, and domestic violence for women leaving incarceration.

Authorizes the Governor to issue an annual proclamation calling on public officials and citizens to observe the week with appropriate activities and programs.
