Requires all updates or revisions to New Jersey's core curriculum content standards to receive legislative approval before implementation, shifting authority from the State Board of Education acting alone.

Mandates the Legislature adopt a concurrent resolution within 45 days to approve or disapprove any proposed changes to curriculum standards or statewide assessments.

Applies the same 45-day legislative approval requirement to any revisions to existing statewide assessments or adoption of new statewide assessments.

Maintains the existing requirement for the State Board of Education to review and update core curriculum content standards every five years.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
