Mandates health insurance coverage for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) with IVF for non-infertile individuals seeking to prevent serious genetic conditions from being passed to offspring.

Coverage for PGT with IVF may be limited to cases where both partners are carriers of an autosomal recessive disorder, one partner carries a single gene autosomal or X-linked disorder, or the couple already has a child diagnosed with the genetic condition.

Requires the genetic condition, if passed to offspring, would result in significant health problems or severe disability to qualify for coverage.

Applies to group health insurance policies covering more than 50 persons, including hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health service corporations, and HMOs.

Religious employers may request exclusions from coverage requirements for IVF-related procedures if contrary to their bona fide religious tenets.
