Mandates all health insurance carriers in New Jersey provide coverage for annual prostate cancer screenings without deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing for men ages 40-75.

Expands the definition of prostate cancer screening to include digital rectal exams, PSA tests, urinary analysis, serum biomarkers, and medical imaging such as MRI, along with provider-directed follow-up testing.

Extends coverage requirements to individual health insurance policies, small employer health benefits plans, the State Health Benefits Program, and the School Employees' Health Benefits Program, which were not previously covered under existing law.

Removes the previous restriction that limited mandated coverage to groups with more than 49 persons and eliminates age-based eligibility distinctions for asymptomatic men versus those with family history or risk factors.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and applies to all contracts and policies delivered, issued, executed, or renewed on or after that date.
