Establishes a legislative internship program allowing each New Jersey legislator to receive up to $10,000 annually to employ interns, subject to approval from the presiding officer of their chamber.

Eligibility is limited to full-time or part-time students at accredited higher education institutions in undergraduate or graduate programs, excluding juris doctorate and PhD candidates.

New Jersey residents and students attending in-state institutions receive priority consideration for internship positions.

Interns receive a $1,000 stipend for each work period completed, paid bi-weekly or monthly as determined by the employing legislator, with the option to continue for additional work periods.

Appropriates $1,200,000 from the State General Fund to fund the program.
