NJ S2006

Requires school districts receiving commercial valuation stabilization aid and located in municipalities designated as "in need of stabilization and recovery" to report weekly to the Director of the Division of Local Government Services

Grants the Director authority to oversee fiscal management and approve all school district expenditures, including districts already under State monitor oversight

Provides the Director with the same powers as a State monitor appointed by the Commissioner of Education for business operations and personnel matters

Targets Atlantic City specifically, which currently operates under separate State oversight structures for municipal government and school district operations that lack coordination

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
