Establishes a grant program in the New Jersey Department of Education to reimburse full-time public school teachers up to $250 annually for classroom supplies purchased out-of-pocket

School districts receive grant funds calculated at $250 multiplied by the number of full-time teachers employed, with teachers submitting receipts for reimbursement

Remaining funds after all teachers receive their $250 (or actual expenses if less) are distributed proportionally to teachers who spent more than $250; unspent funds carry over to the following school year

Eligible classroom supplies include books, computer equipment, software, and supplementary materials, but exclude nonathletic supplies for health or physical education courses

Program costs would be funded through federal American Rescue Plan Act funds or other federal coronavirus pandemic relief funding
