Rutgers University's Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy Economic Advisory Service must conduct a study on the economic impact of military installations in New Jersey on the state's gross domestic product.

The study must analyze direct and indirect economic impacts at state and county levels, including construction and infrastructure projects, military and civilian employment, and state and local tax generation.

$155,000 is appropriated from the General Fund to Rutgers University to conduct the study.

A report must be submitted to the Governor and Legislature within one year after the act takes effect.

"Military installation" includes bases, camps, posts, stations, and other Department of Defense facilities in the state, excluding civil works and flood control projects.
