New Jersey higher education institutions must collect and publicly report employment outcomes and earnings data for graduates from the three most recent academic years, using the New Jersey Statewide Data System.

Employment data must be included in each institution's student consumer information report posted on its website and annually updated alongside existing graduation rates, costs, and student loan information.

The Secretary of Higher Education will compile reports from all four-year institutions into a comparative profile allowing students and families to compare employment outcomes across schools.

Applicants' parents or guardians (or independent adult students) must sign statements acknowledging they reviewed the consumer information report, including the new employment data.

The requirements take effect immediately and apply starting the first full academic year following enactment.
