Requires examination of extended school day and year schedules used in other states

Final report with findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation due to the Governor and Legislature within 6 months of the commission's organizational meeting

Commission expires 30 days after submitting its final report; members serve without compensation but receive expense reimbursement
