Requires the board of education's attorney to be present at all nonrenewal hearings and mandates that nontenured employees submit supporting materials and witness lists at least three days before the hearing

Mandates that board decisions on nonrenewal be issued in writing, including a summary of facts presented, written analysis of the board's rationale, and points of agreement or disagreement with the stated reasons for nonrenewal

Prohibits board members from deactivating video during remote hearings except during stated recesses, and specifies that time spent examining witnesses does not count against the employee's allotted presentation time

Exempts certain positions from these requirements, including treasurer of school moneys, election officers, board auditors, board attorneys, and board secretaries not performing business administration functions
