Program providers must submit course syllabi and required text titles to the Department of Education and post them publicly on their websites, though syllabi and texts do not require department approval.

The required training must address diversity and inclusion in teaching, develop educators' racial literacy, encourage self-examination of biases, and explain how race and racism affect grading, discipline, and student placement decisions.
