Reduces the maximum copayment or coinsurance for prescription asthma inhalers from $50 to $35 per 30-day supply across all State-regulated health insurance plans in New Jersey.

Applies to individual and group hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health service corporations, health insurance policies, and health maintenance organizations.

Coverage for asthma inhalers remains exempt from deductibles, and insurers may reduce cost-sharing below the $35 cap.

Requires the State Health Benefits Commission and School Employees' Health Benefits Commission to comply with the new $35 limit in their contracts.

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment, applying to plans issued or renewed on or after January 1 of the next calendar year.
