Transfers authority for immunization recommendations from the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to the New Jersey Department of Health for purposes of insurance coverage mandates.

Requires the NJ Department of Health to consider recommendations from the CDC's ACIP as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American College of Physicians when making immunization recommendations.

Mandates that hospital service corporations, health service corporations, medical service corporations, and individual and group health insurance policies cover immunizations recommended by the NJ Department of Health without cost-sharing for preventive services.

Applies to contracts and policies for groups with more than 50 persons, as well as individual health benefits plans under the state's standardized plan requirements.

Requires insurers to notify subscribers in writing of any changes in childhood immunization coverage and any related premium changes.
