State Treasurer must conduct an office space utilization study in consultation with all Executive Branch department and agency heads to assess current leasing, space usage, and potential savings under hybrid and remote work conditions.

Study must analyze current square footage owned or leased by each State department and agency, along with the percentage of office space actually being utilized and occupied.

Report must evaluate impacts of remote and hybrid work on State government office space needs and identify potential savings from more efficient space use.

State Treasurer has 90 days from the bill's effective date to complete and transmit the report with recommendations to the Governor and Legislature.

Bill takes effect immediately and expires automatically upon completion of the report.
