Department of Children and Families (DCF) must publish printable information about the "baby box" program and safe sleep education on its website, with prominent and easily accessible links.

DCF must coordinate with the Departments of Health, Human Services, Education, and other agencies serving parents and children to post the same information and links on their websites.

"Baby boxes" are defined as durable cardboard boxes meeting U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission bassinet standards, containing newborn essentials like diapers and baby wipes, and capable of serving as a safe sleep environment for infants' first months.

DCF is required to adopt implementing rules and regulations under the Administrative Procedure Act.

The bill takes effect on the first day of the third month following enactment.
