Reported data must include application date, county/municipality, applicant demographics (year of birth, race, ethnicity, gender identity), approval/denial status, decision date, and reason for any denial.

Attorney General must compile and publish reports on the office's website, with an initial report covering data from June 23, 2022 (the date of the Supreme Court's Bruen decision) through two months after the bill's enactment, followed by monthly reports.

Legislation responds to concerns that subjective licensing standards may result in disparate denial rates for Black, indigenous, and other people of color compared to non-Hispanic white applicants.
