Expands the Office of School Bus Safety's duties to include reviewing laws, rules, and regulations governing school bus safety and recommending legislative and executive action to both the Legislature and Commissioner of Education.

Requires the office to track and report on the implementation status of past school bus safety recommendations made by any entity formed pursuant to law or executive action.

Mandates enhanced data sharing between the Office of School Bus Safety, New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, and Department of Law and Public Safety, including records and data beyond just information.

Requires annual reports to be submitted to the Legislature (in addition to the Commissioner), containing recommendations for legislative and executive action, a review of student transportation safety data, and services and enforcement actions taken by the office.

Amends P.L.2021, c.471 and takes effect immediately upon enactment.
