Requires the Commissioner of Education to select six school districts total: two each from the southern, central, and northern regions of the state, representing urban, suburban, and rural areas

School districts must apply to participate, providing information on elementary school enrollment, current wellness program participation, and proposed therapy dog implementation plans

Commissioner must provide guidance to participating districts on therapy dog activities, handler training requirements, dog health and behavior evaluations, and insurance considerations

Final evaluation report on program effectiveness for student academic performance and health outcomes due to the Governor and Legislature by June 30 of the third school year
