Extends military service credit for compensation purposes to noncertificated school district employees, matching the benefit currently provided only to certificated teaching staff members under N.J.S.18A:29-11

Applies to employees hired on or after the bill's effective date who served in active U.S. or New Jersey military or naval service after July 1, 1940, including women's army corps and naval reserve

Credits military service time as equivalent years of employment for salary increment purposes, capped at four employment or adjustment increments maximum

Noncertificated employees include school staff who do not hold teaching certificates, as distinguished from professional staff like teachers, school nurses, and athletic trainers who require state certification

Does not reduce any existing leave of absence entitlements under other laws, regulations, or board actions
