Amends R.S.40:27-1 to allow the Director of the Board of County Commissioners to appoint a designee to serve in their place on the county planning board

Under current law, the director is required to personally serve as a member of any county planning board created by the board of county commissioners

County planning boards consist of 5-9 members including the director (or designee), one board member appointed by the director, the county engineer (if board exceeds six members), and citizen appointees

All county planning board members serve without compensation but may receive reimbursement for expenses incurred in performing duties

Makes technical corrections updating terminology from "chosen freeholders" to "county commissioners" throughout the statute
