Establishes a 24-hour toll-free telephone hotline for formerly incarcerated persons seeking support during reentry following release from custody

Commissioner of Human Services must create the hotline in consultation with the Commissioners of Corrections and Health, Executive Director of the Youth Justice Commission, and Chairman of the State Parole Board

Hotline will operate through an existing Department of Human Services telephone hotline service

Hotline operators must be certified peer recovery specialists through the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey or certified peer recovery support specialists through the Association for Addiction Professionals

Takes effect on the first day of the fourth month following enactment
