Requires the Department of Environmental Protection to conduct assessments every five years on unregulated perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to determine whether maximum contaminant levels or drinking water standards should be established

Mandates DEP assessment of whether current and proposed PFAS maximum contaminant levels adequately protect children's health, considering their lower body weight and higher drinking water intake ratio compared to adults

Requires DEP to consult with the Drinking Water Quality Institute when implementing these assessments

Assessment findings must be submitted in written reports to the Governor and Legislature, and published on the DEP website

Defines PFAS as any fluorinated organic chemical containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom
