Attorney General must establish and maintain a publicly accessible, searchable database on domestic extremist organizations operating within or connected to New Jersey, developed in consultation with the Director of the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.

"Domestic extremism" is defined as groups or individuals who commit or plan violent criminal acts motivated by political or ideological viewpoints.

Database must include each organization's names/nicknames, purpose and objectives, membership and recruiting tactics, and any known criminal activities.

Database must specifically track whether organizations recruit current or former law enforcement officers or military members.

Takes effect on the first day of the fourth month following enactment.
