Amends N.J.S.2C:27-2 to explicitly state that bribery applies to benefits received either before or after official acts, decisions, votes, or violations of official duty

Responds to the U.S. Supreme Court's 2024 ruling in Snyder v. United States, which held the federal bribery statute only applies to benefits given before an official act

Maintains existing bribery classifications: second-degree crime for benefits over $200, third-degree crime for benefits of $200 or less

Expands the definition of "benefit as consideration" to include any unauthorized benefit regardless of timing relative to the official action
