Authorizes medical cannabis costs to be reimbursed through four New Jersey state programs: Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund, Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD), Senior Gold Prescription Discount Program, and Victims of Crime Compensation Office

PAAD participants who are registered qualifying patients would pay a $7 copayment per medical cannabis purchase, with the program covering the remaining cost through payments to dispensaries

Senior Gold participants would pay a $15 copayment plus 50% of remaining costs, reduced to just $15 after reaching annual out-of-pocket thresholds of $2,000 (single) or $3,000 (married couple)

Crime victims who are registered qualifying patients may receive compensation for medical cannabis costs as part of medical expenses, emergency awards, or supplemental awards for catastrophically injured victims

The Commissioner of Human Services and Victims of Crime Compensation Office may establish limits on maximum quantities of medical cannabis eligible for reimbursement in a 30-day period, potentially below standard patient dispensing limits
