Creates the Nursing School Expansion Grant Program administered by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to increase nursing education capacity and workforce supply

Appropriates $25 million from the General Fund, with $24.5 million designated for grants and $500,000 capped for administrative costs

Eligible applicants include accredited nursing education programs at public universities, independent colleges, and hospital-based nursing schools in New Jersey

Grant applications must include enrollment/graduation data from the prior three years, plans to increase enrollment, workforce diversity initiatives, faculty expansion plans, and student pass rates on National Council of State Boards of Nursing exams

The EDA Chief Executive Officer, in consultation with the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing, will develop evaluation criteria and determine grant award amounts
