Orthopedic assistants must work under supervision of a licensed orthopedic physician and may perform services including surgical assistance, applying casts and splints, suturing, removing sutures, patient evaluations, and documentation

Requires a signed delineation form specifying services to be performed and proof of malpractice insurance coverage, with changes reported to the committee within 45 days
