Requires redaction and nondisclosure of home addresses for elected officials and candidates for elected office in government records under New Jersey's public records law.

Expands existing address protection provisions that currently cover judicial officers, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers to include all state and local elected officials and those seeking election.

Defines "elected official" as any person holding or seeking a state or local government office filled by registered voters at an election, including those appointed to fill vacancies, but excludes political party officials.

Amends P.L.1995, c.23 (C.47:1A-1.1) and P.L.2021, c.371 to add elected officials to the categories of persons whose home addresses (primary or secondary residences) are deemed confidential.

Pre-filed for introduction in the 2026 session of the New Jersey 222nd Legislature, sponsored by Senators James Beach (District 6) and Robert W. Singer (District 30).
